    The model, definitely a keeper, though the background doesnt seem to "fit" her. A little too random. Its a beach scene if I've ever seen one. If you really must use the brushes, start over with some different ones and add your light source further into frame. Look through some fractal art for ideas if you want something different than a natural background.

    Took the liberty to rework some details and fine tune the image ... says more than elaborate explanation on what's wrong (in my opinion).
    The blue didn't work, moreover it obstructed most of the vectors and their depth.
    So I applied a photo filter to kill the blue and highlight the vectors.
    Added some lighting fx to create more depth on the vectors, kick the lettering back into life and stay in tune with the lighting over her shoulder.
    Added a blended border so it looks like the light source isn't limited to the pic and border only.

    Sorry the quality isn't better but I could only work with your small 450x150 pic.
