nah, football is in full swing again - started this week. Going to watch the boy practice, usually don't get home till around 7:30 or 8:00. By then - eat supper and it's close to bedtime.

what position is he playing?

 

Tight end/ wide receiver. Not sure about defense, they've only practiced offense so far. He's got soft hands, we through the football around in the yard constantly. I played running back and wide receiver in high school - depended on what formation/play we were running. He seems to be following in my footsteps.

oh, and easy on the position names people....this is my son - not me were talking about.

My oldest son played soccer (sorry - that's what we call it) for a few years and it me a little while to pick it up as well.

I think you're dead on with that sup - never thought about it until just know but I can see where it would be very confusing to someone who watches for the first time.

You're prob right. I think its much cooler and entertaining to watch american football, then "soccer". Mostly cause of my own country has some good players, but when they get together to play as a team, they play solo.. bunch of rich spoiled d***

I dont think ive ever even watched a whole soccer game, over here its not even on the radar, Beckham made it get some coverage for about a month but now its disappeared again

Beckham is a good example of spoiled soccer players, with to much money and to little skills. He used to have it back in the beginning where he actually HAD to play for his money. Stupid and rather unfair, when u think of all the other talents struggling to make some money and for the love of the game, when all this guy do, is to show up at an event, with him and his "Doll"..
