Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Can't speak for now of course, but it used to be a good place to go for a drink in the afternoon after a Cubs game, or just to unwind after work. They usually had some local band playing during happy hour, and then into the night. I saw many of Chicago's best blues acts there, including Lonny Brooks, Buddy Guy (famous for Sweet Home Chicago), Albert Collins, Sun Seals, Sonny Liston, Junior Walker... The list goes on. Don't know if you listen to the blues, but those guys knew how to make you get up and dance! :D

    I know of Buddy Guy. I saw the band I mentioned cause Hed Pe lost their luggage/instruments so they couldn't play the show at the vic so all of us who went to that show got free tickets to a show the next night at the Cubby Bear.

    I miss Chicago, but I can't stand the winters there. So many good times growing up, plus the food, music, culture, people... It's a toddlin' town! :D

    Can't wait for football. Hope the Bears do better this year.
