Before I moved here I would set aside 1 or 2K for the trip. If I came home with some money left over it was great, if not, I figured I broke even. Either way, I always had a good time. It's one of the reasons I move here.

Don't sweat the air travel bud. Just look forward to the hot babes, spicy food and abundant sunshine!

cool, was lucky when I was growing up and right after college - my dad worked for the same company as a electrician for ages, he just told his boss he wanted to use me as a helper for a little while. Done deal.

 

Maybe, maybe not. You tend to take slot machines for granted when they're as prevelent as they are here in Vegas. She might go gonzo for the first few months, but the thrill is gone when you realize that they're as common as desert sand in this town.

 

Yeah, we discussed that once before. So how long has it been since you've been to a casino to play?

 

I was in a casino Saturday night to listen to a friend's band. They play there a couple of weekends each month, and occasionally I'll play a little video poker, or if there's a new slot machine I haven't seen before, I may stick a $10 bill in it just to see what it does. Sometimes I may play a little blackjack if I'm feeling lucky (read drunk). As for going to a casino with the specific purpose to gamble? It's been years since I've done that.

 

I never was able to get in to blackjack. It's just boring to me. I like games that give you a chance to win something bigger than whatever you put up - like 3 card poker, roulette, and craps.

 

I love to play craps. 3 card poker and roulette are for chumps. They were specifically designed to take big bites out of your bankroll on every turn. A good craps or blackjack player can severly minimize the house's edge with smart play. You may not win big stacks of chips with each go round, but over time you will win more than you will at the other games - lucky spins and turns of the cards notwithstanding.

 

Yeah but, they're fun to play. Like I said, it's all for fun anyway. I'm not trying to get rich - just want to sit and play somewhere long enough to enjoy good company around me and catch a good buzz - that's what it's all about to me.
