A buddy of mine bought a brand new 20 footer last summer with a 90 horse Evinrude e-tec on it.
That damn thing is like sitting in your recliner when your at the helm, and like being on your couch anywhere else on it. Gorgeous boat, with all kinds of toys, but VERY expensive. He got it at cost because we know the dealer quite well, but I think he's still regretting spending the bucks on it.

 

Pretty much the same we've been having here. It's been 96 - 99F for the past few days with no ease off in site. We need some damn rain bad for the grass but more than that to cool it off a little. Damn humidity is up as well - 97F feels like 109F at 2:00 yesterday.

We've had a heatwave here so i was sleeping with the windows wide open. They woke me up i paid little attention as soon as i was sure it was sex and not rape. We haven't been getting the 90s, but 80s with big time humidity, and dew points in the 70s, so it feels a hell of a lot worse.
Looking forward to the electric bill next month, I don't think the AC has been shut off in a week.

yeah no shit. I just got a new unit this past summer and I can see a big difference in my bill though. It's saved me $40 - $50 a month this past summer.
