    At the end of my marriage I lost some freelance writing contacts. The most I've ever made for a magazine column is $125. But it's the leading mag in its specialty area, so the byline gave me credibility.

    Mug is very good. I also like Barq's. I didn't realize there were still A&W drive thrus around. Fuck me. We have a place called Sonic out west. Not too bad, but their TV commercials are fucking annoying!

    Yeah, the economy has not been good to the Detriot area for a long time. Over the years I have probably met more people that moved away from Detriot than any other city in the country. I'm from Chicago originally by the way, but I didn't leave for economic reasons, I left cuz of the cold.
