  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    OMG - I just busted out laughing when I read that and my boss was standing in the hall looking at like I was crazy.


    Yeah, i've been kind of in and out - we got a go live coming up quick on this and we are very far behind. Boss has put me as project manager...again... so i'm trying to get everybody off their ass.

    Servers and application have been in place for months - the database build is what has not been completed. It's a new pharmcy system - we have a huge drug database as you could imagine. The new system doesn't have an import utility so they're having to manually build it. They're just not taking the time to do their job - it's the old "not my job" attitude...fuckers.

    my company recently switched databases for our reference materials. it also did not have a valid import feature as they were switching from a Lotus Notes based database to an IBM HTML KANA server. So many people bitched they couldn't do the conversion and keep policies up to date, we hired 3 temps to do nothing but retype the info in HTML into the new databases. Took 3 months to transfer everything. We kept two of the temps and fired 3 of the old workers because they didn't know how to input info in to the new system.
