Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I resize too. Sometimes the originals are way to big. The resizing will make the pics a lot smaller without much loss of quality.

    i use paint to make them 1% smaller, usually that saves about 200kb...

    some pictures I save are around a 1.5 megs. I will open them up in paint then go to stretch/skew and resize them to 99% each. save the pic then they can go down to around 500KB or less.
