  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    a collection (-> celeb-forum!) is a thread with pics of a celebrity/group of celebrities (like girl-groups etc.) from

    - various events
    - various photoshootings
    - various walkingthedogs etc.

    the problem with collections is that many many many pics will be posted over and over again.

    in respect for achieving and to honor a milestone there has been a "silent convention" to allow collections on such occasions. i think it´s not a too "elitist" approach to call a post with x000 a milestone.

    i know that there are "personal milestones" like the first post, the first thread - but if we allowed collections on every personal milestone we might have a celeb-forum with 300 threads like "my personal fav - collection of Kate Beckinsale" pretty soon. a little boring, even if it´s about Kate...

    i hope this answers your (and other´s) question. at least partly.
