    Maybe you shouldn't rely on the Dodge/Burn so much? It's far too easy to introduce things that aren't present if that's your primary tool you use. Image size (aside from taking longer to load/save in PS) really shouldn't matter.

    I think your doing OK, ressity. As they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Keeping the basic color to the dress while adding a sheer effect only adds to realism. I understand image "sizes" are your concern and I think you made a good selection for the JLH. I dont prefer the in-your-face photos either. Smaller size photos can produce better clarity.
