    They're not common but not super rare. I'm not a big fan of them myself, but I'm sort of 50/50 on ketchup (I like it on burgers and fries, but not much else)

    I think you hit on it with "It's very strong and salty though, so i only have a smattering on toast or a sandwich."

    If you slather it on (like, say, Americans do with peanut butter) it'll be way overpowering. But if you treat it like a thin coat of butter, it's a lot less strong. I'm not saying people who weren't raised on it will like it, but at least they'll be giving it a fair shake.

    I know, man. Even though we have some hours of daylight in winter, there are days when you hardly get to see the sun because of all the clouds and rain. A major downer that is!
