Speaking of obscure foods, i might go to the US Foods store on the weekend.

I love picking up some cherry coke (we had it here for a few months only), and some jolly ranchers.

They have so many American only foods there, but they're pretty expensive so i'm not as willing to try new things as i normally would be.

 

I live on Cherry Coke or Wild Cherry Pepsi. Used to love jolly ranchers, only the watermelon, but haven't had em in quite some time

 

It's impossible to say what it tastes like, because it's so unique.
It's basically fermented yeast, but that doesn't really help you in terms of what it tastes like.

It's very strong and salty though, so i only have a smattering on toast or a sandwich.
It's pretty average on it's own though.

 

We never get the good flavours here.

Right now for Coke we have the normal type, Diet and Coke Zero.

With Pepsi we have the normal type, Diet and Pepsi Max (which i drink).

I adored Cherry Coke and Vanilla Coke, but they're gone now.

 

never cared for Nutella. too odd in my book.

hey I heard you couldn't get any ketchup chips in the states, or it was a little rare. all the major brands make ketchup chips, very good. have you ever had?

Have you ever had Steak-umms? Slap some onions, peppers, and your fav cheese on these puppies, and you'll be in heaven!

 

I've seen em around, but I'm not a fan of catsup myself

 

It's such an acquired taste.

Basically, if you weren't introduced to it when you were young, you won't like it as an adult.

 

Fuck yeah Salty!!! Love some fucking Steak-ums. They cook so fast too which is a huge plus.

If this is what you are referring to, then yes we call it corn as well
