Also FWIW. I guess we're all thinking Winnick nude debut may have had something to do with the L3k3 that soon followed. Some of us are mindful of the possible blackmail scenario. That is, the connection between the sudden nude scene & the L3k3 is a deadly embrace. Release threat triggers countermeasures. Devalue the L3k3 with MS nudity. L3k3r retaliates---cash in, stop the loss. Then come takedowns & denials. Textbook "Weathering The Storm 101".

Yeah, thank you so much for taking the trouble to understand only the smallest part of what I said & then just repeating it. Yes, everybody agrees about the second-to-last step. The celeb forced the leaker's hand. That's why we get to see the stuff. But I gave a scenario why she might've planned it that way. He tried to extort her. Paying him off still leaves her in a ditch. So she did a nude scene to devalue the nudity. The end game is to neutralize the worst: the sextape. The 2 main tactics are to 1) promote disbelief: deny, or just let the public decide that it's fake/not her. And 2) threaten legal action against popular portals like TFB. The harder it is to find, the smaller the fraction of the public who'll believe it exists.

This is a discussion thread. I'm discussing. You're too impatient to follow it? Then skip it & keep your damn trap shut about it.

So...in your hypothetical scenario, Katheryn got Sean Penn (or whoever) to spend millions and millions of dollars to:
1)Buy some book rights
2) Hire people to write the screenplay
3) Cast the movie and include her in the cast
4) Film the movie
5)Edit the movie
6) Send the movie to all the film festivals
7) Release the movie
All so she could have a brief, less than 30 second, tit flash to prevent her from being blackmailed for nudes, most of which you can't even see her face?

You're being ridiculous. That is a bullshit argument. Only the one little nipple shot is taking a ride on a train that was already rolling along. Everything you think I need to assume was already there, including her being cast as the mom. She only needed to have a little bit of nudity shoehorned into a scene that was already in the script. Who knows how many months she & her team took to set it up. No part of the plan was even time critical until the movie came out. Then as long as you have all your ducks in a row, when certain expected events happen, you take the planned actions. Easy peasy.

So here we are, discussing leaks and certainly not getting into pedantic tangents that would ever need this thread closed or people muted. Absolutely not. So fellow leak duscussers, over/under on a g/g video with one of the girls from the pics?

 

Y'know, more than half of us think the whole leak-CSI exercise is a waste of time. You go waste your own time however you like. I like thinking I can debunk some of them, toss the dross & wind up with some reason to believe the rest. I'm not alone. I think there's something wrong with you guys who have your own interests in what the discussion has to be about attacking others who are just discussing leaks in a direction that doesn't happen to be interesting to you. Really, I never said one thing against your all-too-frequent waste-of-our-time so-called contributions to discussions.

 

I don't get this. I have the impression that viewers seeking visuals in a visuals thread don't like text. I get that. Those threads get locked or posters are otherwise dealt with when there are tangents. I don't see how anything that's gone down in this discussion thread could possibly be construed as so off-topic that we'd be anywhere even close to needing an intervention.

 

If Majesty decides to watch and see, that's usually a good indication things have gotten either off topic or too hostile for their liking. I won't guess at which one. I'm no mod. Do as you will, but maybe more cordially? Just friendly advice from someone who likes seeing all kinds of opinions stick around

 

I'm sure you know better than me, then. If what's needed is a Leaks CSI thread instead of just a discussion thread, maybe Majesty could set me straight before thumping me. Otherwise I'm just a law-abiding citizen mindin my own bidness. Discussion, about leaks, that's "what this thread is for". AFAICT. I didn't go off on this tangent until KD decided to start a fight. I'm not to blame.

 

Fineman's leak previews confirmed that make-up is an absolute life cheat code for women. On SNL she looks like a 10/10 every week, but without make-up in that full-body selfie with the cat phone... oof. The definition of "average-looking". Incredible what a Hollywood-level make-up team can do.
