    Don't know if moved is the right word. iirc, she was in Western Australia shooting something when covid really got rolling. She called up her mother and said she was trying to find flights to get back home (USA). Her mother told her not to come back to (a major city in) the USA. So Kate stayed.

    Western Australia locked down their boarder with other states and have been basically 'business as usual' since about June I think, boarders open in Dec, now closed to some at the moment.

    All I saw was a headline to that effect. I just found this from the UK Daily Mail:

    ... She recently revealed she has no plans to return home to the US, after getting 'stuck' in Australia in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. And Kate Walsh appears to have officially made her move to Perth a permanent one, as she was pictured beaming on Friday after her beloved cat Pablo and dog Rosie landed Down Under from her home in New York City.
