The first seasons are pretty good, if you like medieval-fantasy stuff.
Then some of the best characters died and the rest began to walk in circles. A bit boring but still good.
It's a game, you know? there's time for attack and time for strategy
The battles and action scenes are really amazing for a tv show (except for season 1, low budget but that doesn't matter), but some of the new plots/characters doesn't make any sense.
And the last season was visually impressive... but they fucked the script, everything was so rushed! Still good, but not the same.

 

Some of the best stuff happens in the later seasons....

 

Sure, it's full of great moments. But it's rushed They put the material of 2 seasons in 7 episodes...
IMO the season should have ended after the Field of Fire. Who cares? It's done.

 

I watched GOT S1-4 like a book at bedtime, to me it really worked in that format (i've never read the books).
Then i watched S5 (the last Season roughly based on the books) as it went out weekly, it was so slow, the usual
story arcs seemed to take forever.

Then S6 came along, written for Television, characters that took a Season to create and flesh out were
A/Killed off in 15 Minutes B/ Killed off in 30 minutes with hardly a fight.

Even with that, i found S6 much more enjoyable than S5.

 

So typical: So far today, I Slept in (its a half day & I sleep in) it was pouring with rain, get showered/dressed (i always surprise myself how quickly I can move when I want to).
Then the minute I'm through the door at work looking like a long soggy stalk the sun comes out, clearly, I have sinned.

Just seen the Avenger End game trailer.. Oh Boy

Off to Dublin this afternoon for Patrick's Weekend, think of my liver.

You def won't regret it, but get started soon, April 14th is fast approaching.

I'd read of people referring to "End Game" as the last appearance of all the Original Avengers together in one movie?
So would this tie in to the apparent recasting for the lead role in the "Black Widow" back story movie?

Mia- owwww, talking of Cats, a few gardens away from us, i can see into the living room of a house.
Every morning i see the little Cats of the house get into the window as their humans leave for work.
They stay there for about 30 minutes, then in the evening about 30 minutes before the humans get
home for work, they're there in the window waiting for them... one little life.

Sadly not a Timelord, talking of naked.

Meanwhile
This morning, i got out of bed, opened the curtains and a man was looking right back at me through the window.
As I'm on the first floor i yelled, he fell back on the boarding on scaffolding (they'd put it up yesterday and hadn't seen it)
I yelled again, as i thought he was going to fall off.

I texted the landlord to ask why didn't he tell me that scaffolding going up?
He sent a pic back and said he'd texted my flatmate (that has left) that roof got damaged in Storm Gareth.

I better get moving.

 

You were naked? So you're one of those people who sleeps naked, can't say I ever have myself although I've foregone a shirt occasionally(summer can be brutal). Well, beyond the amazing visual you have presented on the bright side at least the guy wasn't doing this I crack myself up, even if no one else laughs.

IDK, what would I have done in his shoes? Most likely one of the following: maybe any combination of those. Oh Soph, you lead quite the interesting life.
