I cry not always at obvious tear induced events, I cry at stupid things, I cry at commercials, people getting letters from home on I'm a Celeb & I don't do goodbyes.

I tear up at lost Cat posters in the street.

Wedding went well, had so many "You must be frozen" comments, I felt like saying "Well I won't look like I've dressed to reach base camp four in the Wedding photographs".

In other news I hit a Santa in the stomach, well life sized model Santa, long story.

I'm first in work, raging hangover I've stocked up on diet coke & banana's.

Really glad my Aunt is not arriving at Gatwick (Airport), because of stupid bastards that have been using drones in the airspace around the airport & it's been closed (and is still closed) since 9pm last night.

If things had worked out differently the girl in the video I posted yesterday could of been my Mum.

 

I have good friends, they're sending me photos of Emma with photoshopped cleavage to nurse me through my hangover.

 

She's really not very sexy. She's not even particularly interesting. In fact, her life is pretty boring.

 

Be careful, that's a declaration of war to some people(I've seen it firsthand)

 

It's not the first time I've said it. The people in love with Emma Watson are generally people who were teenagers (i.e. not of age) when they fell in love with her in Harry Potter movies when she was just a kid. And not legal. But they grew up with her at the same time, so [they think] that gives them the right to define her sexuality through their own awkward phases, which likely had nothing to with their own, since Emma had to go through that phase of her life in public, yet all of her admirers did not. Her fans are fuckwits. They like to think they can identify with her, but the truth is they can't.

 

I'm not attacking Emma, I'm defending her.
Her fans, who think they know how her life should have been acted out on the stage of life they created for her, are the retards I was insulting. Intentionally.

I do!, this has to be a quick one because I'm off to have posh lunch with my boss.

I'm 26 I think Emma is 28, so I don't quite qualify for the growing up with her fan thing.

I've never read a Potter book (but salute JK for encouraging kids to read again) and only saw the last three movies on the big screen.

Emma Watson as opposed to Hermoine annoys the hell out of me with her now preachy attitude, support a cause by all means but cheer up a bit.

Emma draws me in, just when I think I'm over her she does something to draw me back in. As a actor she's OK, but nothing remarkable & I think some of her career choices aren't the best.

Would I bed her? Oh yes, do I like her? I don't really know her, from what I've seen she might be fun, but she hides it well.

But I do take into account what it must feel like to be permanently indentfied with a character from a child & have left it behind a decade ago, accept that she hasn't.

I read some fan fiction once on how Emma really hates living with the whole Hermoine thing & how people still blur the lines between the two.

That's how I feel about it.

 

I think even people who can't stand her would say the same lol.

Fandom can be scary and really tribal, really tribal.
For example I'm a Whovian aka Big Doctor Who fan, i love it & watched it since i was a baby.
I've liked some Doctor's more than others, liked some episodes more than others, but i hope
i respect the choices of others, because it's down to personal choice.

Since Jodie Whittaker became the Doctor there's been a great deal of abuse that's been going about.
Guys (in the main) who i say i've watched it since 1963/1973/1983 etc and i'm never watching it again.
All without even seeing the first episode go out; its done well in the ratings and i've enjoyed Jodie
as the Doctor & again liked more stories than other ones.

I think its a work in progress & needs a new Storyrunner.

But there's some "Fans" who think they "own it", they say the Doctor is man & can't be a Woman!
So here's a alien that can regenerate its own body, can travel in time, but can't change its gender.

I love Game of Thrones (love it apart from slow S5) love Star Trek (but wish they skipped DS9)
but i hate it when any fandom gets tribal and attacks other fans because they don't share their
POV and they're somehow "Lesser fans".

I'm off to Heathrow to meet my Aunt from Canada.
Cue wussfest.

My Aunt has arrived from Canada, she's staying at my Sisters, (I don't envy her). I've got a catch up list a mile long.
